Open position
Product Marketing Manager
We are seeking a Product Marketing Manager to own positioning, messaging, and launch for AMP through general availabilty in 2027 and beyond. AMP is KUKA’s first SaaS product and the control plane between AI and physical automation.
The category is not yet defined, so the positioning work is strategy rather than packaging. You will own how AMP is explained to industrial buyers, integrators, and third-party developers, and produce the material the sales and partner organizations use.
This role coordinates with the upstream product marketing function in the GTM organization. The scope here is AMP-specific and technical.
What you’ll do
- Own AMP positioning and messaging across the platform.
- Define and defend the category position: what AMP is, what it is not, and why the alternative approaches fall short.
- Own launch planning and execution for AMP, including internal readiness.
- Build the competitive analysis that holds up in front of a technical buyer, including honest assessment of where competitors are stronger.
- Produce the sales and partner enablement material: narrative, battlecards, demo scripts, and objection handling.
- Own developer-facing positioning for AMP and the third-party developer program.
- Turn customer deployments into reference material and proof points that can be defended on the day they are presented.
- Back market and competitive input to the roadmap with evidence.
Job requirements
Experience
- 5 to 8 or more years of product marketing experience for technical B2B products, including at least one platform, developer, or infrastructure product.
- Experience marketing into industrial, manufacturing, logistics, or another domain where the buyer is technical and risk-averse.
- Demonstrated ownership of a product launch end to end.
Education
- Bachelor's degree or higher. A technical field is preferred; equivalent experience marketing complex technical products may be considered.
Core background
- Ability to understand a technical architecture well enough to explain it accurately without an engineer present.
- Strong writing. Direct, precise, and free of marketing filler.
- Experience with competitive and market analysis, including primary customer research.
- Experience building sales enablement material that sellers actually adopt.
- Experience with developer marketing, documentation strategy, or community programs.
- Comfortable with analyst relations and technical press.
Judgment
- Ability to distinguish a claim that can be defended from one that cannot.
- Willing to say the product is not ready for a given claim.
- Comfortable operating with incomplete information in an emerging category.
Collaboration
- Works effectively with engineering and product without requiring translation.
- Clear communicator across a global organization, including colleagues in Germany.
Nice to have
- Experience marketing robotics, industrial automation, or physical AI products.
- Experience with SaaS pricing, packaging, and tiered developer plans.
- Experience launching a platform inside a larger hardware company.
- Familiarity with the ROS ecosystem and open-source developer communities.
- German language skills.
